Questions families ask

Does Medicaid pay for adult day care in Georgia?

CCSP and SOURCE pay for adult day health, the medical model with a nurse, by the day. They do not pay for social-model adult day care. Listings say which kind each center is and which programs it bills.

How long can a person stay each day?

A full day under Medicaid is at least five hours at the center, not counting the ride; a part day is three to five hours. The state rule caps time at the center and in transit at 14 hours in 24.
